Hi there, I'm so happy you are here. My name is Jenna Papke and I am a wife, mother, and gardening enthusiast. After a chaotic postpartum experience with my firstborn I was determined to have a more pleasurable fourth trimester with my second baby. So I started to explore and research what that could look like. It was then that I began to learn about the different cultural practices of the postpartum period for women all around the world and the importance of a proper recovery during this time. I was fortunate to receive the generous, non-judgmental, and unconditional support I needed with my second child and it has become my passion to serve women in this exact way during an incredible chapter of their lives. As your postpartum doula I will work to ensure your needs as a new mother are being tended to, allowing you the freedom and capacity to enjoy your postpartum journey the way you’d like. In addition to DONA's Postpartum Doula Course I have completed further trainings specific to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, on top of a degree in Psychology. Along with more than 6 years of experience working with inpatient mental health patients, I combine this knowledge married with a personal interest in holistic, integrative healthcare into the work I do with all of my clients.
When I’m not working as a postpartum doula I love spending time with family members, being outdoors, yoga, running, photography and travel whenever the opportunity arises!
